Are you ever getting ready for work in the morning and they have some analyst come on CNN, FOX, ABC, or whatever station you put on and it says BREAKIN NEWS: Report suggests diet and exercise increase your ability to lost weight!  You sit there and you’re like really?

Your left wondering how much money was paid to the people conducting these studies and to be honest wasted to prove what people already know.  It happens way to frequently but this new report linking obesity to higher meat intake is another captain obvious moment for me.  What is next ice cream and butter increase your risk of obesity?  I will say this however that this study is easily skewed because it’s probably not the people eating meat occasionally but it’s the meat obsessed population that is eating Bacon for breakfast, a hamburger for lunch, and a steak or meatloaf for dinner.  Not many people can do that without pushing the standards of obesity.  I am glad on the other hand that yet another study proves that eating meat is both not good for you and not essential as you are lead to believe.  In fact the negatives far outweigh the positives.  Below are a few quotes from the report published by Antibodies.com.

"The top five countries with the highest levels of annual meat consumption have an average BMI of 27.28, placing them into the overweight or pre-obesity range," said the report.

"In comparison, the five locations with the lowest meat intake fall in the healthy weight range with a BMI of 22.78.
