There are obviously some OG vegans that will rebut that comment but I think now more than ever through scientific research, rapid growth, and proven results the world knows veganism. It is no longer a trend or a niche; being a vegan is a lifestyle and there is no slowing it down. There have actually been many notable figures throughout history that I bet you never knew refused to eat meat and were either vegetarian or vegan. Here is a list that will blow your mind. Look out for Part 2 coming soon…
Albert Einstein – he once said "Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet." I guess here is the real reason people think of him as a genius.
Plato – Famous Greek philosopher and credited for founding the first university in the western world was quoted saying "The gods created certain kinds of beings to replenish our bodies. They are the trees and the plants and the seeds."
Leonardo da Vinci – painter of the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper and one of the most recognizable and influential artists of the Renaissance was quoted saying “My body will not be a tomb for other creatures.”
