First off I want to say I respect every persons individual choice in every aspect of their lives and I won’t be that person that is condemning anyone for the choices they make but I am always more than happy to spread the benefits that becoming a vegan has done for me and others that I know and love.
Initially I was interested in becoming a vegetarian as a method to becoming fitter and healthier and ultimately shedding some extra lbs but then my wife became a vegan and I immediately saw the positive effects it had on her life not to mention it gave me more insight to the atrocities inflicted on loving, breathing, and beautiful creatures that we share this planet with. I have always been an animal lover but I was never “woke” to the reality of what goes on until I made the decision to better myself and my lifestyle. Since that day I have been vegan and I will be the first person to admit there were a few times were temptation got the best of me or we were traveling and I strayed but showing a sign of weakness occasionally helps to push you to be stronger each and every day. Now that I have a daughter being healthy and doing whatever I can to be there for her as long as I can and also healthy and quick enough to chase her around as she grows up is my number 1 priority. Being a vegan helps me achieve this goal. My vitals have never been better and I feel as fit and as strong as I ever have. I truly feel like I have set the course to be a better and healthier person not only for myself but for my loved ones.
